Hevert-Arzneimittel Opens a New Development Laboratory - Top-level Product Development

Since September 2017, the premises of Hevert-Arzneimittel in Eckweilerstrasse, Bad Sobernheim, feature a new development laboratory. This investment of around half a million euro is intended to contribute to the continuous optimization and improvement of manufacturing processes and formulations and to accelerate the development of new products.

"The new development laboratory is an important step forward for Hevert-Arzneimittel. We can now pursue the continuous advancement of our products and product portfolio even more effectively," explained Managing Director Mathias Hevert. He thanked all employees who implemented this project within just a few months. Anika Weisert, Head of Scientific & Regulatory Affairs, also thanked the team for its untiring energy and stated that other companies would be more than proud to have such facilities. She added that nowadays, it is extremely important to continuously increase one's expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Pia Schmidt, Head of the Research and Development specialist department, agreed: "I am looking forward to my new challenge, and I can't wait to see what knowledge we will gain in just a few years' time." Construction started in April 2016. Since then, the natural medicine expert Hevert has invested around half a million euro in renovation and equipment.

Today, the laboratory boasts excellent technology: A blister machine, drying cabinet, ball mill, ultrasound scanner, and extensive additional laboratory equipment make Pia Schmidt, the head of the specialist department, very happy: "I can hardly put into words what fantastic facilities came out of this investment. I feel like I am in my own small production department. Our development work will become much faster and more efficient as a result."
